Some useful tips to attach a wall to a stair in Revit

In this exclusive Revit video tutorial, you will learn step-by-step methods to affix a wall to stair in Revit. A wall is affixed to a stair to develop a room.

The initial step is to choose the floor level. Then, the wall is drawn at the edge of the stair. Now, edit wall profile by clicking twice on the wall. Alternatively, one can select the wall and click on edit profile located on the upper section of the menu bar. Just choose the edge, pick the line and opt for the edge of the stair.

If it is not possible to choose an edge, just press the tab key to perform the task. It is required to trim the line and the shortcut key for that is ‘tr’. Here, the additional lines should be deleted.

In order to clean the line tool, just choose the face of the stair and then choose the wall.
